Their needs
Wynn Resorts wanted to use its existing PeopleSoft website as its content management system (CMS) as it would unify the management between the redesigned page and the rest of its HR portal. The company wanted a designer to figure out how to make the layout of the information a lot easier to scan and discover. Furthermore, it was important to make sure that all the content from the original page would make its way into the new and redesigned page.
The solution
I created a modular design to form the building blocks of the Wynn Resorts “The Wire” HR portal. This included a design library containing the different styles on the new webpage. Components on the page were redesigned with readability and mobile touchpoints in mind. On the other hand, a large amount of information needed to be presented on the page so the new layout made sections such as "Employee Tools" a grid rather than a long vertical list for easier scanning.
The result
Wynn Resorts expressed great satisfaction in the solution InFlight provided to them. This has helped InFlight gain long-term work and a commitment to choose InFlight for revamping more internal tools.
