The problem
For months, a deal to develop Cox Enterprises’ career portal had been in limbo. Most of InFlight’s business relationship with Cox had been with building internal HR tools. While InFlight had great technical prowess in providing those business solutions to Cox, the Fortune 500 company expressed that they needed a consistent brand experience that they weren’t sure InFlight could provide.
The solution
I reverse engineered the styling of Cox Enterprise’s main website and created a style library in Sketch for headings and page components. I then took that styling and created pages for Cox’s divisions and their search listings. You can see more of these pages in this InVision project. The sales team took these designs to Cox and won over their interest seeing how consistent it was with their brand.
The result
Within two weeks, Cox Enterprises had signed an agreement with InFlight to produce its career site. In the world of corporate procurement, this was quick. The deal with Cox Enterprises had made a sizeable difference to InFlight's portfolio.
